An homage to the Beatles' classic, "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds," the latter are represented in an abstraction of gorgeous, cut glass facets, creating a backdrop to the delicate, suspended pearl-esque crystal bubble within. "Lucy's" futuristic spires of amethyst quite literally reach for the "Sky"--inspiring admiring eyes. Lucy In The Sky Paperweight is offered in a very select, limited edition of 250, by Caithness Glass of Scotland. This talented group of master artisans are renown for their dizzyingly prolific output, as well as for their extraordinary range of color, subject matter and stylistic diversity. Avidly collected in 45 countries around the globe and counting, each Caithness original is signed and comes with a pamphlet about the artist.
