In my work I feel free of true expectations, aiming to express a gaiety in movement and a fleshy tension in the surface. These elements allow the outer structure to reveal its intent of female spirituality, producing a continuity of form and outline.

In every piece I discover yet another facet of who I am. Such as my struggle with issues of self worth in relation to what society imposes on me, disempowering my womanly intuitions.

Excitement is my reward when viewing my finished work for it has been a laborious task, much like a pregnancy. Intimacy has begun to evolve between myself and the piece, followed by anguish of the unknown versus the known.
